At the beginning of summer, climatic characteristics such as high temperature, high humidity, etc. can cause many elderly people (but not only) to experience phenomena related to heat and fire such as toothache, excessive eye excrement, anger, etc. because heat distribution is not done properly.
In this season, pressing certain points on the hands and feet can treat a variety of disorders without side effects, and help these people release heat and pass the hot summer season smoothly.
Heat (Rè; 热) is, like the heatwave, a pathogenic Yang element associated with the heart, the fire element and summer. Heat is said to be internal when it does not come from the climate or the environment. Moreover, if the heat is extreme it becomes fire (Huǒ; 火).
Fire can also be external or internal, it is of external origin when a perverse energy becomes too excessive and turns into fire.
